So I’ve been fiddling around with Pottermore (oh my gosh, great distraction tool from the pages and pages and pages of reading I’ve been doing) since I got my account activated yesterday. First, I got my wand:
It cost 7 Galleons. Good thing they let me go to Gringotts (The wizarding bank for all you non harry potter folk) (wait, do non harry potter folk exist??) first to open an account. An opening bonus of 500 galleons? Yes please.
Then, I was sorted into a house. I put on the sorting hat and crossed my fingers, answering questions to determine which house would be mine.
Gryffindor! I thought it could go either Ravenclaw or Gryffindor. My lovely sister is a Slytherin so I suppose that makes us harry potter enemies.
I brewed some potions, attempted to cast some spells and found some chocolate frog cards.
Then I filled in the Beta Testing Feedback Form Where it had these age groups:
Under 13
13-16
17-19
Over 20
Oy. So apparently Pottermore is targeted for the younger crowd
I still had fun. Anyone else in on the Beta testing? Add me and I’ll attempt to duel with you (but for a kids website, spell casting/potion making is HARD!)
With bravery and chivalry,
