A few weeks ago, I decided in an ambitious moment to make birthday presents for the 3 birthdays of close friends/family in September. I saw this awesome tutorial on Pinterest and made a beeline for the fabric store.
Hours and hours of sewing later (who needs to make one tote when you can make 6!) I finished all of the lovely totes. I had to wait to show them all to you so that those receiving them as gifts would get to see them first, but here’s a bit of the process.
The front and back pieces have the top bar sewn on..

Phew. It makes me exhausted just thinking about them again. Everyone who got one loved them, so it was all worth it in the end!
